Los Corrales in Show Low

When i visit my sister and brother we always go to Los Corrales. The buffet is small, but the food is great and they serve you what ever you want. The atmosphere is lovely with wonderful staff who are very attentive. And you can't beat the price any where.

Not sure if they were having an off night or if this is the "norm." This was the worst food & service ever. It took an hour to arrive at it table, it was cold & had zero flavor. 4 meals at $100 bill & they said we would get a discount for it being cold. They knocked off a few dollars. Why bother?

Took my gf on Friday night around 7. They were busy, and we were behind 3 or 4 other groups, so we sat at the bar and ordered drinks. Bartenders were cool and got us drinks right away. After 45 minutes, I checked on our table cuz we noticed many open tables, adjacent to each other. Was told 3 were still ahead of us. We ordered another round and the waitress came by and said "5 more minutes". 20 minutes go by, she finally gets us and takes us to a table that was dirty, with chips and crumbs all over the floor, then departs, never to be seen again. The place was emptying out and we sat there about 15 more minutes, nobody came. While we were waiting, my gf went to the bathroom and had to plunge a plugged toilet before she could use it. You'd think after doing their plumbing work, we might get better service. About an hour and a half after walking in, we got up and left. Everyone else was being served, but we were invisible, maybe they just feed regulars here.

My wife and I enjoyed our food. Large portions! The chips and salsa were good but a little too spicy for my wife I thought it was perfect.

Truly amazing food and atmosphere. Great service! We will be back next time we are headed thru Show Low.

Ended up stopping here on our way to Ganado. At first, we thought the food was kinda pricey. It turns out, the food was really good. A mistake was made on our kids plates but that was rectified immediately. In the end, we ended up with complimentary watermelon tequila shots. They were delicious!! I would definitely come back to this place and would highly recommend it. The staff was very friendly and it seems like they had some regulars and those were greeted by name. Made me want to live there too.

The food was really good but they aren't following any of the CDC guidelines for Covid. Servers weren't wearing masks and over crowding in the entrance area

So if you guys are ever in the White Mountains that includes Show Low Lakeside or Pinetop head to Los Corrales they make homemade tortillas from scratch shredded beef chimichangas that are to die for that come with a green sauce on top or you can just have it plain was authentic homemade rice and gluten-free beans whole or fried absolutely delicious and hello if you're not afraid to try and exotic or hot tasting salsa order the regular and the hot and try them both together best sauce ever I've been thinking about it now since the day before yesterday and today I want more of los Corrales but you got to go up to the White Mountains to have this up then take tasting Mexican food and I Bar None I mean it's one of the top five excellent and I mean excellent job Los Corrales customer for life

Service is not only slow, but atrocious. We were offered and almost ate 2 baskets of tortilla chips with 3 servings of salsa before someone came to take our order, after this waiter took the order for a table that was seated long after us. Once the food finally did arrive, we had to wait for silverware and napkins to be brought to our table, total fail! The food, well after all of that it was ok. The picture is the beef enchilada special.

Quality, authentic mexican food! Chips and an AMAZING salsa to start off the adventure.. superb selection of premium tequilas behind the full bar. Service was good.

Already did review, it was great food authentic Mexican. The service was great the service staff was not very chattie which is good for me helpfully but not clinging.

The food was much to large for an average person. The chicken in my enchilada was charred and just tasted burnt. The rice and beans were virtually flavorless. Didn't get checked up on for a long time compared to the amount of people in the restaurant. The salsa was mediocre, probably the best part about the place. Meals per person are roughly $16. It has nice Mexican decorations, if only the food and service was better.

Chicken fajita salad was terrible. Greasy salad. I think they should start from scratch. Try another recipe without the marinade. They use fine cut lettuce.The kind you would find on some Hamburgers. I recommend that the owner stop selling this until they correct it. Restaurant has nice look. To be fair. Good luck.

I was out and about by myself over the weekend and decided to stop here and eat. It was the best thing I did all weekend, lol. The service was wonderful and the food was DELICIOUS and authentic. I was only able to eat half my plate but was more than happy to take the rest home to eat later. The chips and salsa were also very tasty. I'll definitely be back here to eat!!

They have a festive and wacky atmosphere of hand painted wood carvings everywhere, which is actually fun and worth seeing. They gave us super basic food when asking for vegan instead of vegetarian. Cooking for the plant-based diet is not something they excel at. I do love the flavor of veggies, beans and rice but I hoped for more. Aside from the yummy red salsa that you get to dip chips in while you wait forever for your food, their kitchen seems to rely entirely on the flavors of meat and cheese. To me, what was blatantly missing from our food was herbs and spices. I know lots of people who love this place. Worth a shot if you have plenty of time to wait.

Got my son some water in a kids cup.. It had like 6 floaty things in it. We immediately left. Bad service. Dirty

One clue, if their regular salsa they give with chips is too mild for you, ask for the hot sauce - much better....

This place is AMAZING... staff is very friendly and attentive. The food tastes homemade and filling.

Food is always good but you took away our discounts INCLUDING Veterans. Probably won't be back. We are all about great value plus good food not 1 or the other.I had a cheese enchilada and loved it.

I liked the fajitas but had a sauce on top that was possible an enchilada/mole sauce. Wasn't bad, just different. You light like it. The nachos were good, but wife wasn't a big fan. Might be back.

Bad service and very meh food, I had the Chile relanos and they were squished so flat my refried beans were over the edge of them

Based on all the good reviews we tried this place out....The chimichanga tasted like it had been fried in old oil. The food was lacking taste, salt didn't even help. I didn't even finish my burrito due to how bad it was. My kids had a quesadilla and I could make a better tasting one at home. Disappointed by the experience and will not be back.

They put bacon on shrimp and didnt have on the menu that the double appetizer had shrimp I had two people that were luckly minorly allergic to shrimp the waiter never came back after giving out the food to refill the drinks other then that the food was okay

We had an excellent family dinner. Everything was amazing! The atmosphere was great and very inviting. Our food tasted amazing and our waiter was very quick with taking our drink and food orders.

Always quick service. I always order their steak fajitas. And it's always delicious!! Will continue to be a repeat customer

Food served was hot freshly prepared. Social distancing was good. Servers wore masks very courteous. There is a fried cheesecake for those with a sweet twist and good.

Loved it ❤️I ordered the Vegetarian Fajita. Super delicious. Fresh. Hot. Very generous portion. The waiter was excellent. Atmosphere and decor was awesome. I ate my Fajita and forgot to take a pic of it because it was so delicious!

Staff was very friendly and attentive, food was very tasty, prices were reasonable, selection was big.We ordered the mushrooms with oil and spices for an app. If you like mushrooms, give them a try!! I ordered an enchilada and taco. The taco shells was friend in pork fat. It was unique. I would have preferred corn but they didn't ask. I also had the banana margarita and it was delicious. My colleague had the jumbo or maximum burrito (don't recall the name). It's the size of a small child. He enjoyed it but couldn't finish it. All in all, it was nice and I'd go back for sure!

This place is awesome! It has the most authentic Mexican food in town. Great prices and a wonderful staff.

I eat there all the time and I order the same thing every time. Food is always the same...as expected..no surprises. I wish they would clean the floors better but, other than that it's a good experience.

This is a nicely decorated, cheerful place. The service was poor. We waited 30 minutes for barely warm food. But the food was good, just not hot enough.

Seafood Chimi was a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the restaurant. Good spacing and the staff practiced good distancing.

We went there only because of free dinners by Mountain Mobile. It's Friday night, we wanted fish tacos. When dinner came, not what I expected at all, corn tortillas were limp and swimming in grease! The fish smelled and I never ate them. I asked the waiter, what this plate was, he replied fish tacos. I've never imagined a plate to come out of any kitchen like what I experienced! I just ate the guacamole and out cheese crisp, it too was burnt! Totally disappointing 😣, next time I'll give my tickets to someone else before I go back there again.

Friendly service, sub par food, chicken was literally bland and tasted like water boiled chicken. Verde sauce also lacking seasonings and flavor. The salsa for the chips tasted like a slightly modified Pace salsa. I think this place is geared towards the elderly. Establishment was clean and welcoming

Cute place, the servings are huge, so go there hungry. I ordered the chicken & steak tacos, both had a great smoked flavor. Guacamole is fantastic too.

We have been dining here since it first opened. Unfortunately it seems as though the quality of food has gone downhill. We had takeout again last night and it was probably the worst Mexican food we've ever had and we both got sick from it! If you are going to go, dine in and don't do takeout.

Delicious food and margaritas. Always great service as well.
